Hangad Acapella!
Hangad Acapella! is the first a capella recording of Philippine liturgical music. The 15-track album consists of well-known (and loved) Jesuit compositions such as You Are Near, Kahanga-hanga, Ang Puso Ko'y Nagpupuri (Magnificat), Panalangin sa Pagiging Bukas-Palad and Anima Christi, as well as more contemporary compositions.
Hangad is a Catholic Christian Music Ministry based in Manila, Philippines. They are artists of the Jesuit Music Ministry of the Jesuit Communications Foundation.
The Hangad Community believes that music is a medium which can communicate Christian values and uplift spiritual lives. They spread His message of Love using their gifts--through Masses, weddings, recordings and performances--with the spirit of magis.
Hangad is a non-profit organization. Income from their activities is donated to various charities, used for operational expenses or put into their Music Ministry Fund.
